Round 2 V Shepp United - Sat April 11

What a day we had for our first home game of the season!

Despite some chilly early morning weather the sun came out and gave us a beautiful day. Today we played Shep United and had some great contests on the footy field and netball court. Finishing the day with 4 wins across the 8 sides. Once again a huge congratulations to Tylah on her 200th A grade game we are so incredibly proud! Also to Charli a great achievement playing her 50th!

In the netball today all 3 of our senior sides cam away with a win, with the 17's finishing in a draw and the 15's going down in a valiant contest!

Under 15's had a cracker of a game to start off the day, the entire time it was neck and neck, and despite some late momentum from our girls in the last Untied came away with the win.

Under 17's followed suit in another super close game, after starting slow they had a massive second quarter putting them back in the contest, ultimately coming to a draw against United.

B Reserve secured out first win of the day, in another close contest with United, though with a surge late in the third qaurter our girls gained some ground and came away with the win.

B Grade also joined the winners list playing some great netball! Defensively they worked super hard against some tall goalers, with our goalers making light work of their turnovers with some great shooting!

A Grade finished the netball day with a comfortable win over United, coming out of the gates quite string they worked hard to maintain their lead throughout the duration of the game.

Over in the football there were some mixed results with the reserves coming home with the only win of the day, but overall some great footy was played!

Under 18's had a much stronger game this week really pushing United throughout the game, but ultimately United were too strong for our boys taking home the win.

The Rezzies continue their winning streak with rumours of a pay rise for the coaches floating after their recent success! The boys played some really good footy against United showing some promise for the season ahead.

To conclude the day the seniors put in a great effort against United showcasing the depth of the side, but United finished the game strong going home with the win.
