Round 1 v Mansfield - Sat April 4

Round 1 done and dusted!

Mansfield put on an absolute stunner of day for us as we made our way over the hill! A massive congratulations to all our players today, everyone put in a great effort against the Eagles. Great work to all of our coaches and volunteers also who helped the day run smoothly.

Over at the netball courts we have started off the year with a clean sweep!

The under 15's started the morning off with a great win in a tight contest making us excited for what the season has to hold for them!

The under 17s followed suit and despite being small in numbers played some great netball, a huge thank you to a couple of our 15's Bethan and Issy for helping out!

B reserve looked in fine form as they had quite the win, rotating many different combinations through showing the depth of the side.

B grade have started the season on a strong front, with a nice comfortable win over the eagles pushing out the scoreline.

A grade sealed the deal for our fifth win in the netball, providing an excellent game of netball for the spectators with our new players fitting in quite well!

On the footy field we had a mixed bag of results, with our reserves being the big winners of the day! Despite not coming home with a win both under 18's and Seniors showed some promising footy and great passages of play.

The under 18's got things started for us this morning in the footy with Mansfield unfortunately being too strong, but nevertheless some great footy played.

The Rezzies have started their season on a high, a 180 from how their season started last year! A fuller side this time round put the pressure on the Eagles, our boys coming home with the win.

Despite their best efforts, the Eagles were much too strong for our senior boys. But with the mix of new and old faces we are excited to see what the season has on offer!

A massive day out and we couldn't be more proud, time to rest up and get ready for our first home game of the season against Shep United! Also a reminder that we have our first function next week, the Beer Olympics, we hear it's going to be great fun!
